ROOF TRUSSES

Fine wooden structures have survived for many centuries and for practical and aesthetic reasons timber trusses and beams are making a welcome re-appearance in the design of homes and other structures. Exposed trusses and beams, whilst celebrating the ‘bones’ of the building, add strength durability and stability to immediate visual gratification. Timber trusses, which are being used increasingly by architects to enhance particular features in the home, create a balance between old and new and provide a sense of comfort which is often lacking in modern homes.
